Qigong (pronounced Chee GONG) is a mind-body practice that is essentially moving meditation. It couples movement with breath and focused intent. It has been practiced in China for hundreds of years and continues to be the most common exercise practiced in China today- simply stroll through any park anywhere in China and you will see hundreds of people practicing it. Qigong opens the flow of “qi” (vital force life energy) in our meridians- the same ones referred to in acupuncture and Chinese medicine.
Regular qigong practice enhances the vital energy in your body which has many benefits including but not limited to improved energy, a stronger immune system, increased resilience to stress, better sleep, and improved strength and agility.
The (optional) acupuncture will include simple ear acupuncture with points specifically chosen to help your nervous system fully ease into your deep relaxation.
Reiki is the Japanese word for universal life force energy. This Natural Healing Art involves light hands-on touch that supports wholeness and enhances deeper awareness. It is an anchor into Source and acknowledges the body’s innate capacity for healing. Reiki promotes peace, calm, relaxation, rejuvenation inner quiet, stress reduction, clarity, pain relief, trauma/toxicity/negativity release, connection to self, sleep, and nourishment. By supporting the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual bodies, Reiki recognizes the profound effect energy has on all aspects of being. In an increasingly fast-paced, yang society characterized by force, taking, and output, Reiki reconnects us to the slow spaciousness of yin energy defined by gentleness, allowing, and receiving.
